Homework: Choose one of your collages for your final painting. Do 3 thumbnail sketches to explore different compositional arrangements of your forms. Then, on your palette, mix all the colors you will be working with that are present in your collage-- make a color palette sheet like the one below.
Find 1 artist online that you are interested in that related to a texture, technique or subject matter in your collage, make a journal entry.s
Now, draw our your composition in pencil on your support (canvas or wood board) that is at least 18" x 24" or larger.
Begin painting, and make sure to have 2 layers of paint on your surface before Monday, and make sure the entire canvas has been addressed.
